Our Story
Mahogany Brown Candle Co. is a black woman, and Veteran owned business hand-poured in of Grayson, GA. Established in 2020, Deloyce, the owner, is a mother and a US Army Veteran. So enough of the formalities, let me just start off by saying I am what my family would call a self-proclaimed "candle connoisseur" who prior to becoming chandler, spent a small fortune to find and burn good-smelling candles. I'm a firm believer that scents are the triggers to memories, relaxation, comfort, and promotes anxiety reduction and wellness. As a result, I took the time to carefully craft and test my formula to ensure each scent carries an amazing smell, a long extended CLEAN burn, all while remaining environmentally friendly by using only natural products. From the candle to the packaging, we ensure a luxury candle experience.
Our Promise, Our Products
Hand Poured & Hand-Made Luxury Products. We use only natural, high-quality ingredients to create our beautifully scented candles. Our long-burning waxes are made of only vegan blends of natural beeswax, coconut-apricot, and a minuscule amount of highly refined soy (less than 5%). All of our waxes are toxin free, gluten free, paraben free and phthalate free. We are proud to ensure that our waxes only come from renewable sources, and our wicks are eco friendly, clean burning (reduces anxiety), and made of cotton braided materials. By paring these high-end ingredients, we ensure an evenness of burn and wax consumption while providing a pleasing aroma that you can enjoy for hours while promoting relaxation and wellness. Mahogany Brown Butters are made exclusively from 100% unrefined organic African shea butter, purely imported organic Belizean coconut oil, and an additional mix of essential oils to help keep your body smooth, reduces scarring, and keeps you fully moisturized during the change in seasons.
Community
A Candle For A Cause. It takes a village, and we love the village that raised us. With community as a core value, Mahogany Brown Candle Co. donates 5% of all sales to numerous local black women owned charities. Each organization and recipient's purpose is displayed through Mahogany Brown Candle Co. social media and website. Please email if you have an organization that you would like to see us partner with!
